On average, the entire process takes about 4 to 6 weeks, but it may vary depending on how promptly we receive required documents and the transferring lender’s processing time.
To switch your mortgage, we’ll need a few documents to confirm who you are (government-issued ID), your income (paystub, letter of employment, Notice of Assessment, etc.), your current mortgage details (current mortgage statement), and property info (property tax bill, home insurance info, etc.). Don’t worry, once you’re ready to go, your mortgage broker will help make sure you have everything you need to switch.
